MAYHEM Enter Norwegian Chart At No. 28

April 20, 2004

Black metal veterans MAYHEM entered the Norwegian album chart at position No. 28 with their latest release, "Chimera".

The CD, which was recorded at a mobile studio in the mountains of Norway, features a musical direction that was previously described by the band as "much more back to basics and much more brutal" than 2000's "Grand Declaration of War".

As previously reported, MAYHEM kicked off a European headlining tour earlier in the month. Support at all dates is being provided by Japan's DEFILED.
